ZSE ELECTION UPDATE

I apologize that I forgot to congratulate the following people who are running unopposed and will be your 2016-17 reps.

B Area - Kip Karsh

C Area - James Darlington

D Area - Al Passero (welcome back!)

TMU - James Wolken

It's an honor for me that I'll get to serve another term for this local as we've had our ups and downs with the agency over the years, but one thing that has been constant is that we care about our members and we are there for you 24/7.

ZSE NATCA: UPDATE

Schedule Update:

Nothing new to report.  Both sides have been very quiet and all I have heard is that the agency is working on guidance for NPT.

Construction update:

RVP Doug Pincock has been working with Western Service Area Director Kim Stover on a plan to utilize the south east gate as a full time egress.  That means that they would permanently close our "out" gate on the north side of the facility, where the guard shack is located.

This idea would be the best option for us due to the new traffic light they are installing on Hemlock, therefore eliminating a U-turn for everyone.

2015 Elections:

We will have an announcement on the 2015 elections this Friday on  who will be running for what position.
