Our fellow air traffic controllers to the north have bought us some pizza that is being brought in around 11:30 or 12 today. There will be 20 pizzas so should be enough for everyone and should spill into the swing shift as well.
Others have reached out as well, and we are coordinating different times to ensure the most people possible get to partake in the food.
Action Item
We have had an embarrassingly low turnout on the action item sent out by National. Last I looked, there is only about 12% of us who have sent our letter to Congress asking them to end the shutdown. Surely more of you than 12% would like the shutdown ended. It only takes a few clicks. You may not believe it but this stuff actually does work.
