I got word from Nick yesterday that he will not be able to make it out. As expected, he needs to be in DC right now to continue the work of helping to end the shutdown. RVP Steph Winder is also likely to be in DC. ARVP Cassie LaBelle will be at our meeting though.
Nick wanted me to pass along that he would much prefer to be out here with the membership but he needs to remain in DC for now.
We will go on as planned for the event on Monday, 10/6, 5-8:30pm. RSVP HERE.
Short Paycheck
I have received a few questions about when the first short paycheck is coming and I may have given some incorrect information. We were not paid for 10/3 and 10/4. So the only people getting a full paycheck on 10/14 are people with Fri/Sat RDOs and no OT on 10/3 or 10/4. For everyone else, the 10/14 paycheck will be missing 10/3 and 10/4. The 10/28 paycheck will be a $0 paycheck.
I have also linked a shutdown pay tracker made by someone at ZLC. This will come in handy when tracking your pay as we eventually do come out of the shutdown. I don’t want anyone getting screwed out of one single penny.
